Ramakrishna Math and Mission in Lucknow is part of Belur Math. There are two institutes here. The first is a multi-specialty hospital called Santha Vivekananda Polyclinic.
Apart from providing medical facilities in this hospital campus, health programs are also run in the surrounding villages.
This polyclinic was inaugurated in 1970 by Swami Veereswaranand, the then president of the monastery.
A bronze statue of Swami Vivekananda is installed at the entrance of this hospital complex. This idol inspires everyone.
And the second institute is important from a tourism point of view which is the temple of Sri Ramakrishna located on Ramakrishna Marg in the Niralanagar area of Lucknow. Tourists will be enchanted by the grandeur and splendor of the temple as soon as they enter this temple.
The sanctum sanctorum of this temple has nine domes, and the height of the dome is 90 feet.
The temple has idols of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Maa Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda.
The temple also has the statue of many mythological things such as - lotus, trident, dhol, conch, swan, and vajra. They are all painted with red cement. This temple was inaugurated in February 1949, which is located near an ancient temple.
Constructed of marble and red sandstone, this temple gives a clear glimpse of the architectural style of the Jain, Pallava, Chandel, Chalukya, and Mughal periods in particular.
